Hello everybody! Today we have an update for you on several topics. We're working hard on adding new content to the game thanks to your support, the long awaited surveys are almost ready, and the opening of the store!
Surveys
Firstly, we have sent out the first surveys to a small number of backers as a test to ensure everything is valid with them. This serves as a test in advance to make sure everything is configured correctly, if all goes well we can already send this week or early next week the surveys to all! So please keep an eye out if you receive a survey within the next day or so! We will issue another update to notify you when the surveys have been distributed to everyone.
For those not familiar with Backerkit, it is essentially a tool which helps us better organize information needed for fulfillment. Backerkit also optionally allows backers to expand their pledge to include new add-ons and upgrades despite the campaign having ended, so those who missed out on certain items still have a chance. If you have any confusion about using it, feel free to ask!

Today we have opened the Preorder Store! In case some of you missed Kickstarter, or if you pledged and want to add extra items, you now have the chance to get what you want. There are also still Collectors Editions left!
Due to the very high demand of many backers, we have also created a new addon for you: The Beta Upgrade. This is only available for Kickstarter Backers and offers you the Steam Beta at a discounted price if you have purchased a reward with the base game. After filling out your survey, you can add it as an addon!
Dev Update
I also started working on the museum stretch goal, which is the first of many new different buildings and areas that will be added to the game! Here is a WIP of the building from the outside. You can build it after making friends with Emerald, Clover Town's ranger. Thanks to your support, more new features and small things to make the game deeper are being planned and worked on also, such as a fishing minigame, a train station, and more! Look forward to seeing these soon.

Kickstarter campaign shoutout: Monster Sanctuary
We'd also like to give a shout-out to our friends that just recently had its first post-launch update: Monster Sanctuary.
Monster Sanctuary is a monster-taming RPG with party-based combat and metroidvania-like exploration. New monsters provide additional strategic options in combat and allow you to overcome obstacles to explore new areas and find hidden treasures. The turn-based combat focuses on team synergy and combos, distinguishing Monster Sanctuary from other popular monster taming games.
The newly released 1.1 update added new features like New Game Plus and new difficulty modes for fans of the game! This gives the game additional replayability, and players have more options for playing the game.

We are happy to announce that in this month of April the surveys will be sent out and the Backerkit Store will open. So get ready for the next update!

Blob Design Contest Winners!

We are sorry to keep you waiting for so long! The decision was really hard, because we have received so many wonderful designs. That's why we decided that there will be not one but 3 main winners! The prizes will be sent at the same time as the Backer Rewards (2022). All winners will receive a message regarding their address and desired platform before the rewards are sent.
We are also continuing to work on Backerkit to give you access as soon as possible!

The choice is very subjective and was not based on the "best" or most detailed design. We chose the blobs that we would like to see most in the game and that also fit the breeding mechanics. In the end, we actually had over 15 blobs we wanted to pick, but we had to choose somehow... Please do not be disappointed if your blob is not one of the winners.
Here we present you our realization of the three proud and super cute winners!
I've shared this great game before and I'm doing it again! Why? The developer team behind it is committed to nature, among other things, by collecting donations as part of the #GamesForNature campaign. Practice showing kindness to others by sharing supportive messages and plant cuttings with other players in Kinder World. Collective player choices like these, and in-game events will influence the growth of a shared Community Tree over time.

Small progress report
We are still evaluating the blob design contest and preparing the Backerkit pledge manager. There all backers can change their reward and get additional add-ons! In our next update we will announce the winning designs!
I (Claudia) also started with the customization stretch goal. It's still very rough and WIP but the technical base is done. The UI is just a quick prototype and will be improved. I want to implement color fields and color pickers for the hair,
The technical base for changing your outfit, skin color, hairstyle, hair color, eyes and eye color is done. Now I have to add many options. At the beginning of the game there are only a few hairstyles to choose from, when you unlock the beauty salon you will have more options.
