Hello everybody!
After a bit of a slow news day yesterday, today are back up to speed with a celebration! Together we met the stretch goal for the Beauty Salon, so I wanted to thank you all for supporting us beyond that goal.

New Stretch Goal: Blob Encyclopedia
Now it's time to give some more information about the next goal, which is a bit different from before and special. This is because it is an addtionalitemfor all backers!
Once we reach this stretch goal, then all backers will receive an extra reward for backing the Ova Magica campaign in the form of the Blob Encyclopedia (Digital). This book will be a comprehensive catalogue of the different blob types in Ova Magica, interesting trivia and tidbits about them, and some tips about how you might be able to make use of their abilities and properties in-game the most efficiently!
Information about the next goal after will come very soon!
Bachelor Introduction: Saphir!
With how busy things have been with the blob competition running I hope I haven't been keeping you waiting too long to meet our next eligible bachelor from Clover Town! The lucky and charming guy who is the centre of this feature is Saphir!
Saphir is a brilliant but sensitive line cook, whose meek nature and insecurity means he's taken advantage of by others and sadly prevented from realising his full potential. Deep down however, is a certain strength and brilliance, and his dream is to one day run his own beachside eatery with his sister, Garnet (the expert angler of Clover Town)! But, it will be a long journey for him to discover his inner strength and realise he has what it takes to make it on his own. Always accompanied by his aloof penguin blob (much to the annoyance of Garnet, who spends her time fighting with other penguins for the fishing spots), Saphir is ready to serve up your heart's desires - will you dine on them?

We have a reason to celebrate! Together we have made it and reached the next stretch goal!
Now you will be able to remodel your house! Gather the materials to first upgrade your house size and ask Charoi to build it. Then, later on when you have more progress and materials again, you can then add a second floor with additional rooms to your farmhouse too! You will also be able to remodel to change the floors and walls of your house so you can create themed house designs too!
New Stretch Goal: Beauty Salon
Many of you have been asking so now it's time to reveal the next stretch goal! Coming up next is a new location in Clover Town that will help you further customize your character and provide other uses too!
The Beauty Salon will be a new location in Clover Town that after you unlock, you will be able to visit and customize your appearance even further! As you progress in the game you will be able to unlock newhairstyles and appearances from either general progress or helping the salon's stylist and barber with side-quests. It will also unlock newvanity themed items for your home! Not only that but the Beauty Salon will also be a place to hangout and go on dates to!
After that is a sign of our gratitude to the community with a new free additional reward for all backers with the Blob Encycopedia! Let's see how fast we can reach it too!
Steam Festival Game Shoutout: Dwerve - Live Stream
This shoutout is for Dwerve, a really cool indie game whose devs supported our launch of the Ova Magica campaign♥! They are going to be giving some special previews of the game during the latest Steam Game Festival, so why not have a look?

Hello everybody!
It seems that just a little while ago we passed the stretch goal mark for house expansion and customization to be in-game! Thank you! We still need a little bit of time today to prepare materials for this and also the reveal of the next stretch goal so we will also bring an update tomorrow regarding this. But as a sneak preview we can say that fans of customization and decorating will also love this goal! For today's content, today is very important because we introduce our first bachelorette!
Bachelorette Introduction: Opal!
Now today is the day where we introduce our very first bachelorette to be featured! Have you been looking forward to meeting them? Today's spotlight is on Opal, Clover Town's nurse!
Opal is Clover Town's compassionate and hard working nurse, who you can find manning the Clover Clinic most days of the week! She works tirelessly to make sure that all the people and blobs of Clover Town are in good health, and if something goes wrong somewhere, you can be sure that Opal will find a way to make it better. One day she hopes to also pass the doctor's exams so she can help people even more! Unfortunately... as hard as she studies, she has extremely terrible exam anxiety, and maybe could do with somebody who could help her with her technique. Her sweet mouse blob tries, but it's a bit too hard for him! Will Opal be the one to soothe your heart?
Blob Design Contest
Wow, we are absolutely overwhelmed by your participation and the numerous creative designs! Some things we never expected to see and could never have thought of as the basis for a blob ourselves!
Below is a random selection of blobs. Unfortunately there were too many entries to show them all in one go (this is just a very small selection), but we will show more designs in the next update!

Among all participants we will also raffle three digital game keys for the platform of your choice. The winners will be determined by a random generator.
Rules
Design your own Blob! The design must be your own. Parents can also submit designs of their children!
End - Contest runs until February 23 11:00 PM PacificTime (PT) (February 24 7:00 AM GMT) . All entries submitted via social media or email at this time will be considered.
No limit, you can participate with multiple blobs. Submit them all individually or several in one picture, everything is allowed. However, only one prize per person is possible! In the additional raffle you participate as a person, which means you have no greater chance if you submit many designs.
Maybe some of our blobs will inspire you ;)
How we choose the winning designs
Drawing skill level does not influence the rating.Everyone has a chance to win! Whether you're a kid or a professional, it doesn't matter. We decide soley based on the design of your blob. We strongly encourage parents to let their children participate and get creative - maybe you need something for yout little ones to do during Covid ;)!
Decision is very subjective and not based on the best or most detailed design. We decide mainly based on what blobwe would love to add to the world of Ova Magica. So every design has a chance to win, regardless how detailed or simple it is.

A little reminder what we imagine for the museum stretch goal:
The Clover Town Museum will not only catalogue your achievements and progress, but will open up new questlines and activities. It will really help to reflect on your time in Ova Magica!
You will be able to donate to the museum various items and objects that you find from your adventures (or even grow!). For important items, you may even receive a lore writing that gives more background to the history of the town! Help fill it up with things from Clover Town, and enjoy the beauty in the gemstones and minerals collection, or take in the spirit of nature from the botanical garden with local flora. As you help develop the museum, you will unlock special rewards and new items.
Please share your additionalideas and suggestionsfor the museum in the comments! So we can create something you will enjoy and love!
New Stretch Goal: Pool Area & Swimsuit Outfits
Inspiration
Some of you may have seen the game "Azure Dreams" in the description under inspiration. This is one of my(Claudia) favorite games when I was a kid. I especially loved the pool and the beautifully drawn 2d potraits of the characters in swimwear.

I've been dreaming of designing a pool area and great swimwear for all the dateable characters in Ova Magica as well. Who knows, maybe together we can make it reality?
Here is what we have in mind for this goal:
It will unlock your new construction plan for Clover Town. After you have collected enough materials and money you can commission the pool from Charoi the towns builder!
The indoor pool, is in addition to the beach open all year, even in the cold season Frigus or when it rains. The special thing is you will be able go on dates there and each of the romanceable characters has its own swimsuit outfit and new 2d potraits! And who knows maybe some blob trainers with a special passion for water themed blobs are waiting for you? With unlocking the pool area you will also get some new water themed decorations for you farm and house and toys for your blobs!

As a game developer, I know how hard it can be sometimes to make your dream come true. That's why Aveliana's Kickstarter campaign caught my eye right away! Because it is developed by a solo developer who follows his dream with a lot of ambition, passion and love!
A few genres in indie videogames are overrepresented such as platformer, Metroidvania, or rogue-like! With Aveliana I want to bring novelty to indie games with fun and original gameplay! Aveliana is an infiltration-action-adventure game!
